Farm to Fork

Expanding the Reach of Local Food

Agricultural Institute of Marin’s Farm to Fork program works to expand the reach of local food.  We encourage schools, institutions, food service programs and businesses to buy directly from local producers.  We advocate, educate and promote our vendors’ businesses through education, special events, fostering relationships with new customers and assistance in marketing the outstanding locally produced products from our region.  If you have any questions, please contact Leah Smith, Director of Programs:

Creative ways to tell your customers you source locally.

You’re walking your talk, supporting local farmers and serving up the freshest, most nutrient-dense food to your students, staff, patients, guests and customers. The next step is to let them know where that delicious food is coming from.

There are many creative ways to communicate your commitment to local agriculture. Take a look at examples of Farm to Fork marketing materials in the photo gallery to the right to get ideas on how you can best incorporate the story of who grew your food into your signage, menus, website, etc.

If you need assistance developing initial marketing materials, our team would be happy to work with you. Please contact Leah Smith to discuss what tools would best serve your organization or business.

Keep up the great work and take a moment to shout your commitment to local agriculture from your rooftops! Or at least from your menus. It’s a choice worth celebrating.
