It’s easy to see why the Grand Lake – Oakland Farmers Market is widely acclaimed as the best farmers market in the East Bay. Making the most of the cozy Splash Pad Park, this market welcomes over 44 local farmers, 30 specialty food purveyors, and a handful of local artisans. Oakland residents have made a ritual of this farmers market; anxiously awaiting Saturday morning to pick up their fruits and vegetables direct from their farmer and to enjoy lunch on the lawn followed by a quick dip in the Splash Pad fountain.

From the Manager
On the doorstep to summer we are expecting our seasonal growers to start returning. Stop by the info booth to find out what’s new or where you can find some of the following seasonal farmers: Triple Delight/Blueberries, Siong Farms/Asian Veggies, Rodriguez Ranch/Strawberries and produce, Gotelli/Cherries. Also check out who is new to our market in the food section: Bacano Bakery is serving up gluten free pastries and Local Spicery with their milled spices.
We have recently added a new ATM machine at the info booth so it’s a little easier to get some cash on site, and if you have EBT you can use your card at the info booth in exchange for $1 tokens to use at the market. We look forward to seeing you down at the market soon!
