Ranch History
Shelley Arrowsmith is a first generation farmer. She planted Zinnias and Marigold seeds in a one-foot strip along the fence when she was 12 years old and her garden grew from there. Shelley is waste wise and creates her own fertilizer with compost that is made with garden waste, poultry manure, household scraps and any other compostable treasures.
Practices
The farm is not certified but uses organic growing methods.
Pesticides
Shelley employs her chickens and ducks to take care of the slugs, snails and weeds.
