Sunday Marin
Sunday 8am - 1pm, Year RoundOverview
The Sunday Marin Farmers Market is AIM’s largest market and the third largest farmers market in California. At summer’s peak, nearly 200 local farmers, specialty food purveyors and artisans come together to celebrate a vibrant local food movement. This market has grown tremendously since it opened in 1987, and has long been considered one of the premier markets in the state. Still, the market maintains its community roots, welcoming local eaters who religiously come to the market to take home the freshest foods of the season and to thank their farmers.

From the Manager
We have made several additions to the largest farmers market in the Bay area. Imagine that! Fortunately, for us the Bay area has some of the most innovative culinary minds in all of the land, so we did not have to go far to find them. We have recently welcomed the following vendors to the Sunday Market:
Drozdzal’s Desserts from Sausalito is baking up some healthy muffin choices for us all to enjoy. They only use natural ingredients, adding no preservatives to their blends. Its seriously “guilt-free” goodness. Nicasio Valley Cheese Co. is literally a hop, skip and jump from the market. They are producing cheese exclusively for our farmers markets, so please take advantage. They recently participated in California’s Artisan Cheese Festival in Petaluma with the likes of Cowgirl Creamery, Bellwether Farms, Spring Hill Jersey Cheese, and many more.
Scream Sorbet (http://screamsorbet.com/)... Enough said!!! They have just about every flavor one could think of – apple walnut, Tarocco Blood Orange, Kettle Corn, Red Ruby Grapefruit, etc. The list really goes on and on. Check out their web-site for a full list. Easy Living Foods hails from up the road in Lagunitas. Ease is offering a “Farmers Market Fresh Ready to Eat” product, which is packed and ready to enjoy on the spot if you can’t wait to get home. Easy Living Foods takes a very innovative approach to creating nourishing foods for us to enjoy. Organic Pastures (http://www.organicpastures.com/) is a family owned and operated organic raw dairy, farm and creamery. Organic Pastures produces Grade A, 100% pasture grazed raw milk of super premium quality. And according to the web-site “the company has been recognized repeatedly in independent NFO (National Farmers Organization) tests as having the best milk taste of the dairies surveyed.” Pt Reyes Compost (http://www.prcompostco.com/) is offering some of the best crap in Marin County Teddy has one of the best web-sites and best compost in the area. I would suggested checking out both.
