The Thursday Marin Farmers Market has temporarily relocated from the Marin Center parking lot to Northgate mall through mid-November to accommodate the County’s Civic Center Drive Improvement Project.
You will find the relocated market on the east side of the mall off Las Gallinas Avenue, behind Home Goods and in front of the entrance to the Century Theater. The market will keep its normal hours of operation, every Thursday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
From dream to reality … support the Permanent Home for the Marin Farmers Market — a landmark for farms, families, and food … forever. To learn more, please contact Vicki Buder at 415-472-6100 or at email@example.com.
The Farm Field Studies Program brings children and young adults from around the Bay Area to local farms. Students tour fields in different growing stages, learn about soil microbes, conduct pond or creek studies, feed sheep, visit baby calves, and explore the natural environment around these organic farms.
AIM believes the success of the small family farm depends on eaters who understand the value and joys of local agriculture. AIM’s market-based educational programs engage thousands of children and adults each year.
“the closer we are to the source of our food, the more control we have over what is in our food and how it is grown.”
