Contest is open to the public Limit is 1 entry per person. All contest entries must be registered through the form below by August 20, 2021.
No store-bought pastries, mixes, fillings, icing/frosting, or decorations. All decorations must be edible.
All entries must be in a disposable pan or dish.
Entries should be accompanied by a recipe.
Ingredients used must be natural. *Does not contain any artificial ingredients, coloring ingredients, or chemical preservatives.
All entries must be checked in by 10am on Sunday, August 22, 2021 at the Sunday Marin Farmers Market at 3501 Civic Center Drive, San Rafael, CA, 94903. Please have baked items in bakery box or appropriate container to keep fresh while waiting for judging.
Judging will begin at 11:30am on Sunday, August 22, 2021. Winners will be announced at 12:30pm on that same day. Winners need to be present to receive their awards.
Who is going to win the baking contest? Judging will be based on the following criteria: (1) Presentation; (2) Smell; (3) Texture & Consistency; (4) Taste & Flavor Balance; (5) Creativity.
