How to Use Your Card at the Farmers Market
Find authorized farmers (look for special purple signs or ask at the Info Booth).
Present your card at checkout.
Employee will scan the QR code with a smartphone.
Enter your PIN to complete your purchase.
Shop Fresh
WIC funds can be used to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables. Monthly WIC cash value benefits (CVB) can be used year-round.
Important: 2025 WIC Farmers Market Nutrition Program funds must be used by November 30, 2025!

Complete the Interest & Eligibility Questionnaire on the California Department of Food & Agriculture website to receive info from your local Area Agency on Aging about benefits distribution in your area.
