Small Business Support Programs
AIM’s Small Business Support Programs are a series of programs creating new agricultural career opportunities to strengthen California's regional food system.
AIM’s strategy includes financial investment, technical and business training, mentorship and peer network creation, and sales channel optimization for small to midsize farmers and food producers. The three programs are geared toward producers in their first 5 years of operation.
Our Programs
Racial Equity Fund
The Racial Equity Fund (REF) supports Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) farmers, food producers, and artisan entrepreneurs in building sustainable businesses, expanding market opportunities, and strengthening local food systems.
Incubator Booth
The Incubator Booth is a joint investment initiative by AIM (Agricultural Institute of Marin), KTA (Kitchen Table Advisors), and ALBA (Agriculture and Land-Based Training Association) to promote local food justice, create new agricultural businesses, and support beginning farmers.
Technical Assistance and Education
The Technical Assistance and Education Program supports the success of our farmers market participants through mentorship, peer learning, and access to expert resources
